My nose needs exfoliation today…
It’s warming up again. In spite of the cloudiness, the summer is beginning to elbow its way into the climate. We’re putting together our new office today. Moving from here over to the lamination building, we each have a small table, a three-drawer file cabinet, a corner desk, and a hutch to assemble. It’s that particle board furniture that only requires a screwdriver to assemble. Matters are immensely helped, of course, by the presence of a power screwdriver or a drill with a Phillips bit, but we only had one to pass among the three of us this morning. I’m going to look like Popeye when all is said and done from all this screw torquing. At least it’s chilly in there. We set the A/C to 70 just to see if it would make it there, and the room has become like a meat locker, even with all our exertions.
Postage to Burkina Faso wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be… But then again, I really would have no right to complain if it were exorbitant; after all, I just spent $100 to get machine work done on an exhaust component of my car, something completely in the name of performance, so… Yeah :o)
Back to cabinet assembly. Have a wonderful afternoon, everyone :o)

What on earth did u mail to Africa? I need to mail a letter but she has yet to give me an address oh well guess it will wait:)
$100?!?! what did you do? you couldn’t take a dremel tool, some clamps, or a welding tool to it yourself? $100?!!? hahahh. sorry
She posted her address on one of her recent posts :o) The only hard part is copying it down just like she wrote it onto the envelope…
I don’t have the equipment necessary. I’m having the turbo exhaust elbow brazed and ported. The brazing is required to build up the casting somewhat since there isn’t enough material behind the flange to do a straight port, otherwise I’d just take a die grinder to it (Bob has one). I’m a dedicated DIYer, but I know my limitations :o)
