Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is a cute movie. I really shouldn’t be watching movies about trips and returning to loved ones, though, certainly not films of that nature directed by John Hughes. He has a knack for making his comedies more sentimental than the genre usually is, without being cloying. Lines in the movies that speak of sentiments related to commitment and patience and the longevity of relationships have a tendency to undo me lately. This is indeed going to take a while; I know it.

ok… not to be mean but you read way too much into that movie. haha. maybe i’m being overjudgemental. who knows. at least you’re not watching crap like “bridges of madison county” and stuff like that. stick w/ my movie list. ha. i have seen fried green tomatoes but shhhh…
