What was the name of the most recent Star Trek movie? I was running through the titles earlier this morning with Jerry from R&D, and neither of us could remember the name… At any rate, I know waaay too much about that show, and the movies. It’s the same situation as the encyclopedias–many Sundays and afternoons years ago I just didn’t have anything better to do than lie on the floor of the front room at home and read my “Star Trek Guidebook” or the “C” volume of the encyclopedia… I wonder how empty (or full of things that are actually useful) my mind would be if it weren’t crammed chock full with bits of trivia and little useless facts… What’s useful, though? At least it makes for good conversation, as long as your conversational partner is as geeky as you are about the subject, which rarely happens. Oh well.

I’m tired. I stayed up too late last night. I have to tidy up a bit around the apartment tonight, too. Tim and Erica are coming tomorrow for the weekend.

    Thank you.

Don’t be ashamed… Embrace your geekiness (although if you’re anything like me, you reached and passed that point a long, long time ago :o)

Yes, imdb.com is good. allmusic.com is another goodie.
