There are few sounds in the world I dislike more than someone drilling into fiberglass on the assembly line. The whole deck or hull resonates with the low, grumbling din. Gene’s back from vacation, barking orders left and right, and generally “getting frustrated” with the CNC guys for not cutting the parts as soon as he’d like. They’re all in a meeting at the moment. Bob Gould and Ray are probably getting reamed out as I write. This is one of the times when it’s nice to have a job that caters more to creative abilities than the capacity to stick to a schedule. It’s not that I don’t have a schedule, but my job security doesn’t revolve around my adherance to it.

I always get starving around 10:30. I need to start bringing Nature’s Valley bars to work, or some Triscuits.

I’m looking forward to this singles’ group meeting on Friday, looking forward to meeting new people, new friends. It’s going to be good.

I’m a 3 Musketeers man, myself. But it’s lunchtime. Problem solved, at least until tomorrow morning…

    :o)

    haha, right…

this is why I am glad that there are two (yes, two!) free food hooplas for me today (whoo hoo!).

snickers are GOOD though, you should try them some time ;)

I like 3 muskateers too, but they just don’t have enough stuff to them… and Mars are good too (all that almond/caramel goodness, yum!)

ok, I need to hold out until 1:30, no more talking about food…

:o) That’s the whole appeal of 3 Musketeers bars for me anyway–nothing but pure, unadulterated chocolate. So good, so good. I shall get one later in the afternoon when my lunch has settled a bit. I don’t dislike Snickers at all, but in order to go for one, I do have to be in a frame of mind that craves a bit of variety in my candy bar.

And yay for free food :o)

they even gave me a free waterbottle that says “UNC Libraries” on it… of course, I filled it up with grapes (yay for free afternoon snacks later) and the nabbed a few extra cookies, too.

    i want grapes… :o(

:o) but i have chocolate!!!! yay!!! (or i will when i go by one of those chocolate covered granola bar thingeys for 25 cents. they’re so wonderful!!! perhaps later i should maybe think the possibility of eating something else besides for dinner… lunch and breafast are enough… nah. you can never get too many chocolate covered granola bars!!!!!!)

    *ahem* i’m done.

    ;)

okay…. not really. i’m just getting started! weee!!! yeah… i should settle down so i can study.

    again, later, baber.

  7. immortaleve says:

wait, so are you going to be eating krishna food wit me?

    you?

    done?

    never baber ;)

  8. ztibugey says:

no… no krishna tonight. i don’t think i’ll be eating it any more… something i read before about idols and food… it sounds silly, but i’ve always felt whatever about the whole idea, even though it is free.

perhaps i’ll stop replying here and do it somewhere else. sorry!

alas, but now what am I to do to amuse myself?
