It’s Friday; let the transition commence. On Monday I will be in a new state with a new job and a whole new set of responsibilities. I honestly can’t wait for it to start.
Cleo’s (our cat’s) motor is on permanently today. It’s so beautiful outside, and she’s expressing her approval…
Rock climbing yesterday was a lot of fun. It’s definitely something I’m going to continue doing, even if I can’t talk any of the guys at work into doing it with me. There’s something about that is just the pure essence of a challenge–going straight up, fighting the most basic force in nature, gravity. I could wax poetic about it all day, suffice it to say that it rules; try it :o)
Tonight is the last hurrah for friends in the area. We’re going out to a nice restaurant, to laugh and carry on in each others’ company. Perhaps I’ll have some wine; who knows. I’m sure it will be bittersweet by the end. Now, to make reservations…

i’ll definatly be praying for you.
how far is the move?
<><
Nine hours down the coast from central NC to northern Florida. Thank you for your prayers :o)
you are welcome!
wow, you won’t be far from us. we are just in north alabama.
maybe we could meet sometime in the future.
i know we are wanting to go down to south bama to visit a church we used to go to. it’s down below montgomery, and just above dothan.
just don’t know when we’ll go.
I think I’ll be just about as far from you as I am now, unfortunately–I’ll be in St. Augustine (just south of Jacksonville). But yeah, if you guys are around maybe we could go out for coffee or something :o)
oh! ok…i see now. i didn’t realize exactly where you were going.
that would be quite a drive for you, just to have coffee…
that better be some GOOD coffee.. :)
