more accessible, perhaps?

Published on November 28, 2001

I feel terrible. I don’t know what it is. I don’t like to complain. Am I tired, wanting, nervous, on edge, worried? I can’t tell anymore. Your prayers would be appreciated.

I graduate in three weeks.

I don’t have anything lined up after graduation.

Great. Just great.

i’m sorry you feel like this.

perhaps its a virus, cause i feel the same way. i really, really don’t like it. i think i’m going to have to tell coach i’m not going this weekend. i can’t take all this worrying.

    *sigh*

okay, dear, you’ll be fine. its okay that you don’t have something lined up yet. its alright. most people work all year to figure something out. you have one semester.

you’ll find something. God has something for you. He didn’t bring you all this way for you to be jobless for long. maybe there’s something else in store… we’ll see, dear. let’s stop worrying.

and no matter your employment status, God loves you, your family loves you, and i love you.

It’s difficult not to gauge your happiness according to your circumstances when it seems the rest of the world gauges your success by the same yardstick. In other words, it doesn’t seem like it does any good to say, “My relationship with God is really strong right now, but I don’t have a job.” Of course, it doesn’t help when you’re prone to comparing yourself relentlessly with others.

Thank you, darling. Thank you for your words, and your support. We’ll both make it through this season, by His grace.

Thank you. The fact that He provides is something I need to be reminded of constantly during this time… My faith is so weak. Praise to Him that He works in spite of my wavering.

If I had the money, you know I’d do it.

    Why Ohio?

‘Cause there are cooler places to drive, like Montana (where there aren’t any speed limits), and Italy.
