I got a second job yesterday. Monday, pretty much out of the blue, I got a phone call from Terry, my supervisor when I volunteered at JAARS during the summer of ’01. He’s the R&D director there, and does a bit of engineering work on the side for outside projects in addition to his support of the organization. One of the projects he had been working on was assisting with seat design for a new model of microjet, or small private jet plane. While he was able to help with the technical aspects of the seat, and its crashworthiness, the firm in charge of design needed some help on the styling end of things. So he recommended me to them, and they gave me a call, and yesterday in effect hired me to do industrial design for the aircraft seats of this plane. 10-15 hours a week and it pays really well. Wow, thanks God :)
And now for car group… It’s a bit drizzly and dreary outside. Ah well.

that is really cool!
Wow. That’s awesome. Looks like God’s agreeing with your choice in moving into aviation. I bet it’s nice to be designing seats for a plane that looks pretty darn good too.. I want to come home sometime soon. I’ve got exams coming up this week, so I’ll be studying a lot. We’ll see though. God bless you, man.
