This is hilarious. I’ve been saying this for years, and yet the current love affair with butt-rock still persists on mainstream rock radio… *sigh* Where would we be without college stations, I ask you?

p.s. — “Figured You Out” is the worst song. Ever. No qualifiers–just pure, unadulterated, offensive crap.

And I thought it was bad enought that nickleback even existed. Who knew it would get so much worse? This is a perfect example of why I don’t listen to the radio. I only find out about bands through word of mouth and from opening bands of concerts I go to.

The only reason I actually listen to the radio is so that I can be somewhat culturally literate. I mean, somebody has to dominate the Trivial Pursuit games in 10-20 years time. Heh.

Most of the music I really love, though, I’ve found completely by accident. I’ll hear a snippet of a song in some random place, like it, and investigate further. Word of mouth plays a big part too.
