Great film, and surprisingly affecting.  The Antarctican vistas and cinematography in general were breathtaking&#8230;  The way life thrives in such an austere environment is incredible.  And they didn&#8217;t shy away from showing the dangers and inevitable tragedy that accompanies the whole ordeal.  It was hard to watch in parts.  I should also mention that after watching this movie you <i>will<\/i> want a baby penguin.  No way around it.  You&#8217;ve been warned.<\/p>\n<p>Also purchased <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebandivy.com\/\">Ivy&#8217;s<\/a> latest, <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.allmusic.com\/cg\/amg.dll?p=amg&#038;sql=10:8p6xlf0escqu\">In the Clear<\/a><\/i>.  They&#8217;re a band that&#8217;s in my all-time top five for the simple reason that I like more than about 75% of the music they produce.  Very few bands are in such company&#8211;the Beatles, George Winston, U2, and Hooverphonic are the only bands\/artists that come to mind that can realistically claim the 75% rule.  My fascination with Ivy probably stems as much from their near-perfectly conceived sound as from the fact that their lead singer is a very attractive frenchwoman and hints of her accent can be found all over her singing.  Well, that and they have the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boldulysses.com\/old\/ivy_in_the_clear.jpg\">best album covers ever<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Went and saw March of the Penguins earlier this evening with friends.
