Had my first cavities filled this morning.  It&#8217;s been a while coming, and the fact that my insurance situation will be a little more uncertain after next Friday (my last day here) prompted me to call up the dentist and have it taken care of.<\/p>\n<p>Remarkably pleasant experience.  They told me exactly what they were going to do (always a plus) and gave me headphones so I could drown out the ambient noises from the procedure with local radio and whatnot.  I dozed off a couple of times near the end of it and had to wake myself up to pay and leave.  The local numbness is finally wearing off&#8230;  I think I&#8217;ve had enough anesthesia pumped into me in the past month to kill a horse.  *sigh*<\/p>\n<p>Strangely enough, thumbing through the images on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.micom.net\/oops\/\">this page<\/a> does not discourage me from wanting to be a pilot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I made it 26 years.
