She’s in His hands now; she always has been. There’s nothing I can do now except pray and fast for her. We’ll both grow and learn and experience; it’s just that some of the ways of learning scare me, quite frankly. God holds all the cards now, as He should have from the beginning, and before. We have to remain committed to His will and in His word, and in fellowship with those who can give us sound advice and counsel (perhaps the most difficult part because of our pride). But being able to fail is what being discipled is all about, along with honesty. I will seek that out. If there’s anything I need at this point in my life, it’s wisdom, something I sorely lack.<\/p>\n
Work at the GPC (General Placebo Center) was hectic. Being one of the days of the month when the discount card is operational, it was very busy indeed. Fortunately, I did get to talk to Ed for a few minutes. He’s my boss who recently got saved. He’s doing much better, attending Bible studies and the like, and is going to come to my church on Sunday. We’ll see how that goes. I’m looking forward to it in spite of the fact that I’ll have to get up early. It’s going to be good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
