Especially the last 45 minutes.  Very entertaining stuff.<\/p>\n<p>For me it was the first movie of the three prequels to create a plausible film universe, where the story existed on a deeper level than just the flat surface of the movie screen.  I felt close to the same way I did when watching the Cloud City scenes in Episode V, where I felt a true sense of escapism, like for a moment I existed in the world created there on the screen, its logic was my own, enveloping my mind.<\/p>\n<p>The screenplay is still horrendous.  The real actors in the movie elevated themselves above their peers by simply doing something, <i>anything<\/i>, with their lines and giving them a modicum of inflection and authenticity.  Fortunately the other tools at the filmmaker&#8217;s disposal filled in quite well&#8211;the score, for one, is magnificent, and tomes have already been written about the sure-footed spectacle of the CGI.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d see it again.  The cringe-inducing moments wage a war (a Star War, even&#8211;ha) of attrition against their light-side counterparts, but in the end it&#8217;s the latter that carry the day and redeem the film.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well that movie rocked all kinds of nonsense.
