Pearl Jam.  I don&#8217;t understand their popularity.  I suppose it&#8217;s really all a matter of personal taste, but for my money their music is hackneyed, derivative, and just kinda boring.  I dunno.  I will concede, however, that they have one of the best band names ever, right up there with Aphex Twin, Violent Femmes and Cheap Trick.<\/p>\n<p>2. I balanced my checkbook for two consecutive weeks for the first time in a <i>long<\/i> time.  That&#8217;s a good feeling.
