My upper right arm is twitching something fierce, and has been ever since mid afternoon yesterday. You know those muscle twitches you get when a particular one or group is tired (I think)? That’s it. It’s more annoying than anything else, especially when I’m trying to fall asleep at night.<\/p>\n
I ran last night before the front’s squall line came through. Actually, it came through around 4 in the morning, so I guess that’s not saying much. But even at 11 I could feel it bearing down, what with the wind and choppy night clouds overhead. It was still warm, though, and about halfway through the run I took my shirt off. It made for a much more exhilarating experience. I think I can honestly say it’s the first time I’ve been shirtless outside on January 13th.<\/p>\n
I spent too much money last night. After having a great steak dinner at home (my dad bought too much steak and invited me over to help them finish it), I stopped by B&N to look for an album by the late great Eva Cassidy, an artist that Susan and I had been listening to on someone else’s iTunes playlist earlier in the week at the Gazette. Found it, and on it is possibly one of the best cover songs I’ve ever heard<\/a> (right-click save-as). It’s not often that a cover invites me to contemplate the meaning and poeticism of a song in a deeper way than the original.<\/p>\n
