2. Ate outside at Quizno’s with Betty and David today. Driving back to the office, stopped at a light, Betty opened the sunroof. The movement of the clouds against the frame of the opening made it seem like the car was moving and not the clouds…kind of like looking up at a skyscraper in a big city downtown.<\/p>\n
3. Does anybody out there read The Onion<\/a>? Some of it is over the top, sure, but most of it is really funny, and their movies and music reviews are quite good too. They have “columnists” that write regular commentaries every few issues, among them an incredibly white “accounts receivable supervisor” who talks like a gangsta, the decrepit founder of the newspaper who goes into way too much detail about his physical ailments, a hard-luck stoner who goes on about his latest burger flipping job and complains about how “weak” his “stash” is, and my personal favorite, Smoove B<\/a> (warning: pretty racy prose), an oversexed would-be Valentino with obviously ulterior motives behind his sweet talk. I don’t know why, but I find his articles absolutely hysterical, to the point where I had to suppress my laughter yesterday to avoid attracting attention in the office. The part when he pledges to neither massage his lady too hard nor too soft “to be ineffectual for massaging purposes” killed<\/i> me. Man. What is wrong with me?<\/p>\n 4. I drove Stephen to the airport today at 5 a.m. It sucked to get up that early, but on the other hand I do get to drive his truck around, which is nice while my car’s fuel system is still giving me fits. I think I’ve finally decided to ditch the stock fuel tank and go with an aftermarket fuel cell. I’ll leave it at that–let me know if you want more details.<\/p>\n
