So darn close.  If it weren&#8217;t a Sunday I&#8217;d have it done and started, hopefully.  The Taurus&#8217;s engine is completely reassembled, it just needs another serpentine belt and 8 quarts of transmission fluid.  *sigh*  If I&#8217;d known, I would have gotten them at the store&#8230;  Oh well.  At least it&#8217;s a complete engine again.  After having an <a href=\"http:\/\/www4.ncsu.edu\/~mesuffer\/summer\/taurus%20bay.jpg\">empty engine bay<\/a> for a while, it&#8217;s nice to have everything hooked back in its correct place again.  At least I get sliver of a sense of accomplishment from that.  If I could only crank it over and see if it starts after 3-odd months&#8230;  But that&#8217;ll have to wait yet another week or so.  I might come back early.  Who knows.  Only the shadow.<\/p>\n<p>Also, if anyone out there acquiring a car needs a second opinion, I&#8217;m available.
