This whole sleep fiasco is a strong argument for getting a washer and dryer for the apartment itself, someplace I could just throw the clothes after I get home from work and not have to budget out time beforehand. But yeah, the album nearly put me to sleep… Gosh.

Have you ever thought about your life on a multi-dimensional level? That is to say, according to the theory of multiple realities, that our choices determine which worldline we follow, and an infinite number of realities actually exist for all the decisions we could have made, or everyone could have made that affected us. It’s the thought that the alternate path you decided against years ago you actually did take in a coexisting reality, along with all the other choices we make on a daily basis. So in parallel worldlines, there are versions of me that only differ slightly from my present state, and there are some that exhibit qualities diametrically opposed to those I possess now. It’s a small step from recalling one’s choices and thinking, “What if I had done so-and-so?” to ruminating on the fact that “I actually did do that, and in an alternate worldline I’m actually walking around (or not) having made that decision that way.” It gives all those thoughts that sweep across my mind for a split second a more tangible kind of perverse reality, to know that in an extra-dimensional sense, those possibilities weren’t dismissed, but acted on. It’s more than my choices, even–those small (and large) things beyond my control, the cascading effect of minutiae that overlapped into my life… Realities exist for every one of those as well.

Okay. Enough of that tripe.
