Thank GOD for the Durham County DMV. After going to the Chapel Hill DMV and getting turned away again<\/i> (sixth time) for a title for the Audi, on unbelievably trival grounds, I stumbled out in a haze of frustration and decided to drive over to Durham and try their DMV office, as much as I didn’t want to explain the whole scenario again. But by the grace of God, some of the red mist had faded by the time I reached the branch office in the Durham, and I calmly explained the situation, appealing to their sympathy. I was severely tempted to make up stuff or slip the lady a $20, but she ran it through. If it comes back I’ll be notified about what to do from there (in writing! Ye gods!), but in the meantime I have registration and a tag for the Audi so I can drive it around and get out of the ‘rentmobile. w00t.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
