Got my car started yesterday…finally. First time it’s run since September. This was fairly huge considering how much energy I’ve expended on getting everything sorted. And it’s still not there yet… but it was rather exciting. I was happy. I feel like I’m walking forward waist-high in molasses trying to make progress on this thing, so I’ll take anything I can get. The theme is ’20s and ’30s, and I have no idea what to wear. No clue, and I wouldn’t know where to shop for those clothes even if I did know. Golly. I think I’m just going to wear a pair of chinos, black shoes and belt, and a navy blazer. Hard to go wrong with that, and if people squint their eyes I might actually look a little Gatsby-ish.
