I haven&#8217;t really <i>talked<\/i> to anyone in a long while.  Friends gets bits and pieces, but no one gets a complete image, much less an idea of trends and movements of my life.  But that&#8217;s how it is.  Sometimes I wonder that I should be giving as much away as I am, and I downshift into question mode and no one&#8217;s the wiser&#8230;  I don&#8217;t really have a best friend at the moment, someone who gets excited about the things I get excited about, who laughs when I do so I don&#8217;t stand there and notice that I&#8217;m still smiling when the din of amusement subsides&#8230;  I repsond to attributes from all my friends to satisfy the social needs that I have in the niches of my personality, and when (and even before) they&#8217;ve satisfied that want to connect that I have, we move on to other things.  That&#8217;s not entirely true, but it feels that way tonight.  Hmm.<\/p>\n<p>I want cookie dough ice cream.
