Maybe I should post a normal<\/i> update… The new job is going swimmingly. I really, really like it. It’s taking me a while to get acclimated to the office environment, but I get along with everyone, more or less, and the job itself is actually coming easier. That’s what’s more important, right? Well, in an ideal world… :o) I’m working on posters for the 2002 Burch Fellows Travel Award recipients. Makes me want to travel.<\/p>\n

I have decided that I’m going to get a motorcycle. I’m going to take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation<\/a> courses at a local community college, get a helmet, my permit, gear, and when I’ve saved enough money, a bike. I’ve got my eye on a 1979-1982 Honda CBX. We’ll see, though. That bike has more power than I’ll know what to do with in the beginning. I’m just telling myself that I’ll grow into it (that’s the rational side of me talking; the emotional side thinks it’s one wicked bike).<\/p>\n

We’re moved in, just not unpacked. Anyone got a coffee table or an entertainment center? We need ’em.<\/p>\n
