Grand time in the Boston area this past weekend. Couldn’t get off work Friday, so Donald and I left around 4 p.m. and drove through the better part of the night, arriving in Framingham (the suburb of Boston where my aunt and uncle live) around 5 in the morning. It was a long drive, and I was glad for Donald’s companionship, as I was for the rest of the trip as well. He was born up north and spent most of his early life up there, so he knew things about getting around, not to mention the fact that he’s a delivery driver, and his penchant for directions certainly came in handy.<\/p>\n
Over the course of the weekend, we visited Quincy’s Market, the Aquarium, the science museum, Harvard, rode most of the subway, and just goofed off and had a great time. Can’t wait for the pictures.<\/p>\n
It was an amazingly incident-free trip. The car performed admirably, all things considered, with only a couple of minor alternator hiccups. What was more amazing was the weather. It was absolutely beautiful, and the only snow we got were a few flurries after church on Sunday up in New Hampshire, which quickly dissolved.<\/p>\n
