The succession of chords at the end of the song is just great, solid rock, then the song dissolves and crashes into feedback and apocalyptic guitar wails, underscoring the message of the song.  On the album, it melts into &#8220;Life Goes On,&#8221; no slouch of a song in itself.  They&#8217;re just a great pair of overlooked songs.<\/p>\n<p>The job rigamarole continues.  While waiting to hear back from my original interviewer, I&#8217;ll be interviewing for another position in the same plant&#8230;  If you look at the situation in just the right light, it&#8217;s almost like they&#8217;re fighting over me.  Heh.  Me and my delusions of grandeur&#8230;  They&#8217;re &#8220;determined to put me to work somewhere,&#8221; (their words) though, so it&#8217;s nice to be appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>Nannying is done.  The kids&#8217; mom and dad arrived safely last night after a 5-hour delay.  They were exhausted.  I was happy to make most of the conversation driving them home, as they appeared to be in that glazed-over-with-tiredness mood.
