There are few sounds in the world I dislike more than someone drilling into fiberglass on the assembly line. The whole deck or hull resonates with the low, grumbling din. Gene’s back from vacation, barking orders left and right, and generally “getting frustrated” with the CNC guys for not cutting the parts as soon as he’d like. They’re all in a meeting at the moment. Bob Gould and Ray are probably getting reamed out as I write. This is one of the times when it’s nice to have a job that caters more to creative abilities than the capacity to stick to a schedule. It’s not that I don’t have a schedule, but my job security doesn’t revolve around my adherance to it.<\/p>\n
I always get starving around 10:30. I need to start bringing Nature’s Valley bars to work, or some Triscuits.<\/p>\n
