Whitecaps last night as I was running… They were just breaking the surface of the water, though, as the wind wasn’t all that strong. I’m having to dodge heavy construction equipment these days, too. They’re digging up the beach, to what end I have no idea. I think they’re going to enlarge or pave the parking lot, or both. They’ve taken away all the semi-submerged beams from the shore, the ones that were preventing erosion at that end of the waterfront. I hope they’ll put something else in their place–they were such fun to tread over and explore, all the sea urchins and hermit crabs hidden in the crevices between the beams… Haven’t seen a dead jellyfish in a while… Perhaps they’re migratory?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
