Pen was throw-up sick last time and a couple of times this morning. We think she just ate something that didn’t agree with her; other than the incidents, she’s more or less completely herself\u2014physical, chatty, mischievous and very, very pink. Still, we didn’t want to take her to church, so it’s been a lazy Sunday morning at home, watching TV, dabbling with Legos and coloring, reading here and there. The time change (obviously) caught the kids off-guard too; they were up at 5:30. Sigh.<\/p>\n
Four day week this week. We’re leaving Friday for Mom and Dad in Chapel Hill; they’re watching the kids for two whole nights to give Diane and I a chance to spend some time alone for our fourth (!) anniversary. No expectations, no pressure, just a free evening, night, day, night and then morning. It’s going to be wonderful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
