Most nights, after I put Luke to bed, I&#8217;ll have a seat at the computer and thumb through the day&#8217;s new pictures.  There&#8217;s some phenomenal photography on that site, no doubt about it.  For a guy who, growing up, treasured his collection of airplane-related literature above almost all else, it&#8217;s a treasure trove.<\/p>\n<p>You can search for photos using almost any criteria, whether it be by airplane, airline, registration number, airport or anything else, really.  Some of the best photographs come from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.airliners.net\/search\/photo.search?placesearch=Philipsburg%20%2F%20St.%20Maarten%20-%20Princess%20Juliana%20%28SXM%20%2F%20TNCM%29&#038;distinct_entry=true\">Princess Juliana International Airport in the Netherlands Antilles<\/a>.  It&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SXM#Runway_and_facilities\">rightly famous<\/a> among plane spotters for its close access to the runway.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of my favorite websites is Airliners.net.
