I was working only 25 hours a week but after much persuasion and advocacy on the part of my boss (always an affirming thing), they agreed to hire me full time with benefits, based on my performance and my changing needs.  Pilot training and singleness necessitated and allowed a bit more flexibility in my work schedule, but as family takes first priority, the new job situation is a big answer to prayer.  We will live modestly, but I can provide for us on my salary alone.  God really does provide for us at every turn, giving us exactly what we need.<\/p>\n<p>Diane and Luke and I went to the fair a couple of Sundays ago.  Other than the disconnect fostered by the fact that we were trudging all afternoon around the fairgrounds on the one day of the week it&#8217;s good to rest and recharge, it was very fun.  We pushed through Luke&#8217;s naptime and he was wide-eyed with wonder at the commotion and fanfare.  He and I rode the big slide together and he rode the merry-go-round twice (once with me and once with Diane) along with a couple of other rides.  During the last few rides he would close his eyes and cant his head to one side in the cutest manner imaginable.  Diane and I were doubled over with laughter and speculated as to why he was doing it.  It was his first real experience with cotton candy, too, and after some initial apprehension he got his fingers properly sticky enjoying it.
