1. They’ve cut back my hours at work a bit, seeing as how they’re spending far too much on a trade show in Atlanta in August and they’re looking for any way to economize. But I am still working enough, although, truth be told, I am looking for a little extra work to supplement the main job.<\/p>\n
2. Diane and Luke and I are very well. There has not been a day in the past couple of months in which we have not seen each other. We had a lovely weekend at my parents house in Chapel Hill a couple of weekends ago and profited greatly from the mini-vacation. We had dinner with Bekah and Donald at Breadmen’s on Rosemary St. the night we arrived. I was freshly reminded why they are two of my favorite people, and we had a splendid time.<\/p>\n
3. Flying continues, albeit at a slower pace. I flew a couple of Fridays ago with Larry and we had a good time practicing landings and sequencing ourselves vis-a-vis traffic down at Lexington. I would like to fly this Saturday morning with Diane again.<\/p>\n
4. I spent Independence Day with her family in Lewisville, watching a surprisingly sophisticated fireworks show in the main square, populated by the majority of the townsfolk. Very enjoyable.<\/p>\n
