Elyse’s party was wonderful, no doubts there. We played a very entertaining game of charades, listened to the wrong U2 song at midnight, and clawed our way through games of five-player hearts and BS, and just had a great time eating cookies and pizza and talking… I hope you feel better soon, Elyse. Misty night, which will only exacerbate the likely mayhem on the roads. It was a long day at work, nine hours by myself, without a singular customer during what was probably the last hour and a half. Sam, dutiful manager that he is, poked his nose in the store for about five minutes, muttered something about the traffic, and promptly took off again, when he was supposed to work with me for a couple of hours at least. Whatever… I have a headache which I’m certain is simply from sheer tiredness. Busy day tomorrow with Donald and with the annual old friends get-together at our house this year. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone again. Who knows, maybe I’ll even have time to wash my car.<\/p>\n
