I ran tonight.

I ran, and I ran, and I ran.

I ran ten miles tonight.

I ran until I couldn’t remember what it felt like to walk.

I ran until the only pain I felt was my body.

I ran until I couldn’t hear her voice in my head, confirming my question before I hung up the phone.

I ran until every muscle in my body cramped up.

I threw up again.

I need rest.
