Work is dragging today, even if I have been productive… I think this week has finally seen me get a handle on every process in the office here–all the little things that I had put off doing, that would have made things easier but somehow I convinced myself I didn’t really have time to do… They’re all in place. I bought a daily planner and have used it quite a bit already. Things are becoming more streamlined…
Watched Dr. Strangelove for the first time last night. I haven’t seen the Pink Panther movies (well, one a long time ago), so this was my first real introduction to Peter Sellers. Amazingly funny man, especially as the titular character. I doubt anyone else could have succeeded in convincing that his arm had a mind of its own quite the way Sellers did–hilarious. A lot of the lines in the movie were eyebrow-raisingly relevant as far as the current political climate is concerned… International relations and perceptions of other cultures are just a couple of the subjects touched on. In any case, I enjoyed it very much.
