I’m addicted to cars; I’m convinced. Somehow after the engine swap experience last summer, Twinkie is never going to be enough. I’m seriously contemplating checking this out in a few weekends’ time. It has a lot of advantages:
1. Real back seat
2. Real trunk
3. Decent-looking
4. No need to worry about pesky emissions testing
5. Rotary engine
6. Rear-wheel drive
7. Excellent hot rod and sleeper potential
It guess it depends what “needs resto” means. I’m not intimidated by mechanical issues. It would certainly be a lot more practical than my RX-7 would have been, if I hadn’t sold it after it blew an apex seal (rather critical failure of a rotary engine). We’ll see. I hope so, but it’s going to take some convincing of my parents that my priorties are indeed back in order and it won’t suck up my time and money like the red car did. I wish I could make a living being a mechanic. I really do enjoy it.
