the perfect light of evening reigns outside
and after that which is before
the sun coming within a bough of
darkened branch, and seeming to stay,
her shadows fly to reveal
the crispness of an evening well-tended;
sighing more, becoming nightfall
as shades and breezes flow between
the exhales of her star, reddening
and collapsing into one, her own repose.
