lethargy
The word “étroit” came into my head earlier.
I woke with “Into the West” playing in my mind.
I am a paramedic or doctor, traveling into jungle with my future or current father-in-law to rescue, treat and retrieve accident survivor. I have to venture 50 miles into dense jungle, with no night vision goggles given to me (others get them). Father-son dynamic at play; I’m “on trial.” Member of southeast Asian country/society/expectations; honor society. Sean Connery (with very Predator vibe) is there too. Have to take a kind of single-person chairlift low over the treetops; there’s a mishap wherein I get tangled up, and my response is instructive/telling for my father-in-law.
