What a thoroughly gray day… I’ve almost got my trip to Chicago this weekend squared away. I just need to get this pastoral reference to someone, then I’ll be set. I’m really looking forward to it. I know it’s going to be helpful.
David came over earlier today so that we could tinker with our respective cars a bit. He’s the only other person I know who is as fanatically obsessive about car noises as I am. When they occur in my car, I’m like a man possessed. I have to hunt down the noise and put an end to it. It was good to hang out with him a bit and just chat.
My toe is turning colors from yesterday. Fortunately it’s my “ring toe” so it doesn’t affect movement too much, and I can still move it, so it’s not broken. It’s just a rather dark shade of violet and quite tender. I should probably ice it some.
