Slow, slow mornings… Wishing I was elsewhere, but doing my best. At least the printers are cooperating with me this morning. I swear those things have fully formed personalities…

From time to time the office receives various periodicals, some about boatbuilding, some about the industry itself, and some that advertise various upscale yachts for sale. There’s one to the left of me on my portion of the desk–Yachts International Magazine. This thing is just way too glossy. Pages upon pages of megayachts for sale, the huge ones you see at Monte Carlo or Miami. It’s interesting how the majority of people you talk to would say that they would never buy something like that if they had that much money… But who’s to say what your mindset would be if you found yourself that well-off? Granted, I’m sure not many millionaires spring for 100-foot luxury yachts, but there aren’t that many millionaires to begin with, so who knows.

I’m tired and jittery. Contradiction? Evidently not.
