Greetings from The Hangar. This is my playground on the Web for anything and everything of geekitude that I wish to share with the rest of the world, be it car-, airplane-, space- or website-related, or anything else, for that matter. Expect pictures, links and all manner of what else, and comment away.

At the moment I'm putting together the website in the chinks and nooks and crannies of time I have over lunch and in the evenings. Using the abilities I gained making my company's website, it's all hand-coded and uses HTML and CSS. There's a little PHP in here too, mainly for embedding the blogs and standardizing common elements. I consider the Home page done, as well as About Us and The Hangar, but the rest of the links are in a state of development. I'm trying to work left-to-right, but jumped ahead to the Gallery by popular demand. Much of the site is patterned after Over the Rhine's site, but with nowhere near as much sophistication. However, you'll notice similarities in the general layouts of the sites, as well as the graphic format of their Shows page and our Gallery page.

Some current web challenges include: Getting rid of a little blip of code that pops up at the bottom of the blogged pages in Firefox, putting a 20-pixel margin under the main content box (difficult given that it doesn't have a set height, but expands to fit the content within) and figuring out how to design the Gallery page so that it's most usable. It's fun, but challenging, which is how I like it.
