Didn&#8217;t anticipate being put to work <i>before<\/i> Thanksgiving dinner yesterday, but that&#8217;s what happened, as Gran made us all (the boys) do yardwork.  I was mentally prepared to help clean up <i>after<\/i> dinner, and I did, but yeah.  Come to think of it, I don&#8217;t really miss the football.  It&#8217;s just atypical is all.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards we went over to Paul&#8217;s apartment and watched <i>Shaolin Soccer<\/i>, which is a riot, if you&#8217;ve never seen it.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s cold out.  Scarf + beanie (toboggan?) weather for sure.<\/p>\n<p>And gas-powered leaf blowers should die a long, grisly (yet silent) death, especially when I&#8217;m trying to sleep in.  I&#8217;ll take my fall foliage, thanks, even if it&#8217;s down on the ground.
