I never thought I’d hear myself say this, but I need a drink. Or a hug. Or a good run. Or maybe all three? But especially the hug; I honestly can’t remember the last time I received one from somebody who wasn’t, like, legally obligated to hug me back (i.e. parents)…<\/p>\n
Of course, I never thought I’d hear myself say, watching Monday Night Football last week, that I missed baseball, the sport that used to bore me out of my mind. But things change. Not like I’m going to be wasting untold hours at the mercy of the television, but I do have a newfound appreciation for the subtleties of the game after last week. I will say that.<\/p>\n
I’ve been wound up so tight the past few days… My head feels like it’s in a vise and I got really light-headed eating dinner with the theology group earlier this evening. I think it was something to do with the hummus + gyro I had for lunch.<\/p>\n
